Idoan brings a strong multidisciplinary background in consulting, ESG, sustainability, and engineering. He most recently served as a Project Manager and Decarbonization Specialist at an ESG consulting firm based in the UAE, where he led strategic projects for clients across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia in sectors such as energy, transportation, financial, and marine industries.
Before that, he was a Project Lead at a think tank, managing research and implementation in areas like energy transition, transport electrification, and philanthropic investment. His experience also spans engineering consulting—particularly in oil and gas—and exposure to the startup ecosystem through his time at a startup incubator.
Idoan holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung and a master’s in Energy Science and Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, supported by LPDP scholarship.
