Our Senior Policy Researcher, Tiara Amalia Puteri, has an extensive background in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Education, and Women’s Empowerment with work experience across public and private sectors. She has developed a strong project management and relationship-building foundation over her 3+ years of consulting experience at Ernst&Young Indonesia as a Senior Consultant.
Graduating from Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) with a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) degree and LPDP scholarship, and getting her Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Indonesia, Tiara is well-trained in Advanced Economics, Data Analysis, and Management in Public Sector. Her research interests include sustainable development, poverty alleviation, and women’s empowerment.
For her capstone in HKS, she conducted research that included fieldwork on Adaptive Social Protection in Indonesia, to help protect the poor and vulnerable from natural disaster shocks, under the supervision of Prof. Rema Hanna with Indonesia’s Ministry of National Development Planning as the resource partner. Tiara is passionate about contributing positively to Indonesia’s development and she hopes to leverage her expertise to create a positive impact collaboratively.
