Rainier Haryanto is an experienced executive and seasonal entrepreneur with over twenty years of senior management experience working in various settings: start-ups, the private sector, the public sector, and State-Owned Enterprises. His extensive experience covers diverse industrial sectors in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
He is currently assuming various board positions in the healthcare industry, port operation, and eco-tourism development industry. His recent management role was as the Managing Director of PT Ilectra Motor Group, where he built a team and an operation of an Indonesian start-up to a business with a valuation above USD 100 million with a focus on an electric 2-wheel vehicle. Before the role, he was appointed as the Strategic Deliver Advisor to the Minister of State-own Enterprise, the Independent Commissioner of PT PELINDO, the Business Transformation Director of PT Pertamedika IHC and also the Program Director/ Senior Infrastructure Advisor within the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs, Republic of Indonesia. In this Program Director role, he was heading the day-to-day operation of the Government of Indonesia’s inter-ministerial/agencies coordinating team (KPPIP) with a mandate to accelerate the development of National Strategic Projects and Priority Projects, a portfolio consisting of approximately 500 infrastructure projects with a total investment value of USD 350 billion. The acceleration has been carried out through policy development, prioritisation, good project preparation, project delivery, debottlenecking, monitoring and evaluation.
