Building the Future of EV Infrastructure 

With EV sales surging 2.4× from 2023 to 2024, Indonesia is racing to close the infrastructure gap. The government has set a bold goal: achieving a 1:15 SPKLU-to-EV ratio by 2027, with 62,918 public charging stations by 2030 (a 20-fold increase from today’s numbers).

In 2025, 5,800 new charging stations will be rolled out, mostly across Java, through public–private partnerships in rest areas, malls, and urban hubs.

But bridging Indonesia’s EV chasm requires more than just numbers. The next leap forward will be defined by reliability, accessibility, and user trust.
