Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with national and multinational corporations, government entities, and other stakeholders.
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Client Acquisition and Retention:
- Build, manage, and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Develop customized proposals and pitch presentations to address client needs.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and establish partnerships with foreign chambers of commerce in Indonesia, business associations, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners to create joint strategies and initiatives that drive mutual value.
Market Research and Insights:
- Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
- Provide recommendations to enhance the company’s market positioning and service offerings.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business development, partnerships, or a related role in public policy, business consulting, or relevant industries.
- Proven track record of engaging with foreign chambers of commerce (e.g., AmCham, EuroCham, BritCham) and building relationships with multinational corporations and business associations in Indonesia.
Network:
- Established network of contacts in multinational and national companies, as well as government bodies and business associations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch to senior-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth understanding of Indonesia’s business landscape, regulatory environment, and public policy frameworks.
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in CRM tools, business intelligence platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
